Our Story

  1. 2018

    The glance

    Back in 2018, Jide and Ore happened to be at the same social event, from different schools and living completely separate lives. Jide spotted Ore from across the room and admired her from a distance. No introductions, no grand romantic moment—just a glance. Little did he know, he had just spotted his future wife.

  2. 2021

    Another shot

    Fast-forward to 2021, and life decided to give them another shot, with a little help from a mutual friend who clearly knew what they were doing.

  3. Games night

    Finally connected

    One games night later, Jide and Ore finally connected. The conversations kept flowing, the hangouts became more frequent, and eventually, they realized they weren't just friends anymore.

  4. Since then

    The adventures

    Dating turned into adventures, shared interests, plenty of laughs, and falling more in love along the way.

  5. April 8th, 2027
    From "I noticed you across the room" to "I choose you for life."

    Not a bad plot twist, if you ask us. 😉

Is everything on the same day?

Yes. The traditional ceremony, the white wedding and the reception all happen on Thursday, April 8th, 2027. Times will be added to The Day soon.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Only if your invitation includes one. If it does, add their name when you RSVP.

What should I wear?

The colours of the day and dress code are coming soon. We'll share them in Colours of the Day.
